Dave built the
studio when we moved in, back in 2002.
Every evening
after work David would head up to the "studio project" in the attic and, bit-by-bit,
it began to take shape. You can see from some of my pictures, the transformation
in progress.
Holly,
pass me that screw gun...
The
Chupick work crew - David and Holly
Finally
it was finished.
The studio
has loads of storage space, a sink, and a crazy wood floor.
The floor
was born when we decided to plane the 100-year-old beams scattered about
the attic and use them for the floor.
Some of
the beams are wide, others narrow, but it just adds to the overall character.
In my
studio you can dance, relax and listen to music on the futon, read,
or just have a "cuppa" and recharge your creative batteries, oh... and
of course, paint!
